Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime; that is roughly 47 women per day. Whether it's you or someone close to you, it will more than likely affect your life to some degree.  There is no sure way to prevent breast cancer but there are things that you can do that may be preventative such as eating well, lowering alcohol intake, exercise and even breast feeding. Those things are simple measures that may save you. Regular breast screenings (Mammograms) may not cure or prevent cancer but is a helpful tool for catching it early. So ladies, do not just be aware during this month but all of the time. Educate yourselves, stay actively involved in yourself and help bring awareness for those who are not so fortunate.
In honor of The Susan G. Komen Foundation and Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are featuring products in support of awareness. We are showing our support; will you do the same.
